THE LOST FRAMES BUREAU

The Lost Frames Bureau is an independent archival authority responsible for the identification, documentation, recovery, and preservation of anomalous entities originating beyond recognized reality.

These entities are most commonly associated with lost cartoons, abandoned broadcasts, unidentified film materials, undocumented productions, cryptid encounters, and realities believed to have ceased—or perhaps never properly existed at all.

Within Bureau records, their appearances have been documented through damaged film reels, incomplete animation cells, corrupted recordings, recovered photographs, eyewitness accounts, and physical specimens exhibiting characteristics inconsistent with their presumed origin.

Some appear familiar.

They are not.

OUR DIRECTIVE

The Bureau exists to preserve what would otherwise disappear.

When evidence of an anomalous entity is discovered, Bureau personnel attempt to establish its origin, document its known characteristics, determine the circumstances surrounding its recovery, and assign an official LFB classification number.

Recovered entities and materials are subsequently transferred into the Bureau Archive, where they are cataloged and preserved indefinitely.

Not every recovery can be explained.

Not every record is complete.

And not everything recovered was meant to be found.

LOST REALITIES

Bureau research suggests that certain entities originate from realities that are no longer accessible through conventional means.

Some appear connected to abandoned animation productions.

Others have been recovered from unidentified broadcasts, damaged recordings, forgotten folklore, remote locations, or fragments of media for which no corresponding production has ever been verified.

Whether these realities were abandoned, erased, displaced, or simply forgotten remains under investigation.

The Bureau does not speculate where documentation is insufficient.

We recover what remains.

We document what can be verified.

We preserve the evidence.

Every recovered entity entering Bureau custody is assigned an individual archival designation.

The sequence does not indicate chronological recovery.

Certain records remain restricted.

Others are incomplete.

Some designations correspond to materials no longer held within Bureau facilities.

Public access to the Archive is limited to records that have received appropriate clearance.

If a record appears incomplete, information may have been withheld intentionally.
